The first measures have been taken as part of the investigation into the clashes between ultras from Nocerina and Brindisi which took place on 16 October in Nocera (Salerno) during the football match played at the San Francesco d'Assisi stadium between the two Serie D teams.

Officers from the Nocera Inferiore Police Station and the Brindisi Police Headquarters executed an order applying personal precautionary measures issued against 6 people, 3 ultras from Nocera Inferiore and 3 from Brindisi , by the investigating judge of the Nocera Inferiore Court who shared the charges raised by the prosecutor of the Nocera Inferiore Public Prosecutor's Office.
The six ultras are being investigated for aggravated brawling and possession and use of blunt objects and have been subjected, to varying degrees, to the obligation to remain at home and to report every day of the week to the judicial police with jurisdiction over their place of residence.
Six precautionary measures, 18 other ultras investigated
Another 18 ultras are under investigation for the same crimes, but have not been subject to precautionary measures because they have no criminal record or specific priors.
According to the investigators' reconstruction, the caravan of visiting fans, aboard their own vehicles, after having evaded the checks set up for their escort, travelled along city roads alternative to the itinerary planned for the visiting fans, arriving in the neighbouring municipality of Nocera Superiore.
At the same time, Nocera fans, learning that their opponents were in the area, organized themselves to move in groups to intercept them. The clash between the opposing fans occurred a few kilometers from the sports facility in a hamlet of Nocera Superiore , along a road used by local fans to reach the stadium.
