Violent clashes erupted yesterday afternoon at the Airola juvenile prison in the province of Benevento, where foreign inmates and Neapolitan prisoners clashed.
The riots continued until night. According to reports, before calm returned, a group of prisoners literally tore down the armoured door of a cell, causing damage to the walls of the detention section.
