The images coming from Soccavo are disturbing. In via Tevere, at the intersection with via Po, a group of people surrounded and beat a boy with kicks, punches and slaps.
But what is shocking is that one of the thugs pulled out a gun and pointed it at the victim.
“We really have them, I’ll shoot you in the head,” he threatens.
“We don't know if it's a real or fake weapon, the fact is that it's an absurd scene, worthy of the Wild West that is now the order of the day in many areas of this city.
A tragedy was narrowly avoided, but what's more worrying is the unrestrained spread of ferocious violence. This incident occurred just days before yet another robbery we reported in Ponticelli, in Conocal Park.

There, five bandits positioned themselves in front of a car, pointing their guns at the unfortunate driver. The man was forced out of the car with brutal violence. In these conditions, we repeat, no one is safe.
Citizens are afraid, and many times they don't even report, but we continue to insist on bringing these incidents to the attention of the police and giving people the courage to report. Unfortunately, violence is given over to them and they kill without a care in the world. And often, when they are caught, they don't even see prison or, from inside, they even boast about their 'deeds' on social media.
