Teverola . The subdivision of land owned by entrepreneur Angelo Schiavone, the structure of the Agribio company, and the construction work on Via Roma: these are the subjects of the investigation, conducted by the Prosecutor's Office of Naples North, which involved administrators, technicians, and builders of the Agro Aversano area.
In the last few hours, the Carabinieri have searched the offices of the Municipality of Via Cavour precisely in relation to this investigative activity. A visit, probably made to acquire documentation, which has put politicians and employees on alert.
At the moment, the mayor Tommaso Barbato, the councilors Pasquale De Floris and Pasquale Buonpane, the former mayor Biagio Lusini, the entrepreneur Angelo Morra, Davide Vargas, former director of Urban Planning of Teverola and former councilor of Trentola Ducenta, Carlo Verde, of Parete, owner of the company that was taking care of the works on Via Roma (until the company was reached by an anti-mafia interdiction), and Emilio Chianese, owner of Agribio, are under investigation. They are accused of corruption (Verde is also accused of illicit competition). Logically, they are all to be considered innocent until a final conviction is handed down. And since the investigation is still in the preliminary phase, it is possible that in the subsequent steps the suspects will be able to clarify and demonstrate their non-involvement in the illicit conduct that has been hypothesized.
