Two trucks loaded with special waste seized in Marcianise: high administrative fines

Msoldiers belonging to the Carabinieri Forestry Station of marcianise, during a territorial control service aimed at preventing and repressing environmental crimes in the municipality of Marcianise, have subjected to inspection the vehicles used for the transport of special waste in order to verify their suitability for the transport of waste by means of registration in the National Register of Environmental Managers, the traceability of the waste transported by means of the Waste Identification Forms (abbreviated to FIR), the conformity of the waste itself in terms of quantity and quality with respect to those indicated in the FIR and the authorization of the vehicle for the transport of waste on its own account or on behalf of third parties.

During the aforementioned activity, they seized two trucks used for the transport of non-hazardous special waste consisting of building aggregates resulting from building renovation work, one of which was not registered in the register of environmental managers and the other was carrying out transport on behalf of third parties for which it was not authorised. Both drivers were reported at large for the crime of illegal management of special waste.

Two other transports of non-hazardous special waste were also fined as one was carried out without the Waste Identification Form and the other with a FIR containing incomplete data.
