In Mattinata a conference of studies retraces the fundamental stages of Guerriera Guerrieri's life and interests: from her close friendship with Croce, as witnessed by the autographed correspondence, to her profession as a librarian, from her life in those war years, to her teaching and study activities.

Moderated by the Director of the National Library of Naples Maria Iannotti, the speakers will be Vittoria Fiorelli, Fiammetta Sabba, Teresa Leo, Patrizia Rocchini, Fiorella Romano, Maria Rascaglia, Gabriella Mansi, Daniela Bacca and Simonetta Buttò, director of the Central Institute of the Single Catalogue of Italian Libraries, from 9,00 am.

In the afternoon, testimonies and memories, moderated by Lydia Tarsitano, speakers include Titti Marrone, Sergio Angori, Guido D'Agostino, Giuseppe De Nitto, Vincenzo Trombetta.

The monumental Reading Room of the National Library of Naples adorned with gilded stucco was in the Bourbon era the royal ballroom. A first step, one hopes, towards the dedication to Guerrieri by the Ministry of Culture of the entire National Library of Naples, which today bears the name of Vittorio Emanuele III.
