Yesterday evening, officers from the Campania Crime Prevention Unit, during their territorial control service, while driving along Corso Italia in Acerra, noticed a car traveling at high speed until the driver, having reached the intersection with Via Calzolaio, lost control of the vehicle.
The police reached the man who, during the identification phase, cursed them by pulling out two knives but, after a fight, he was stopped; furthermore, they found two sticks in the car.
A 90-year-old Neapolitan with a police record was reported for personal injury, resisting a public official and carrying weapons or objects capable of causing offence; furthermore, he was charged with three violations of the Highway Code for driving with an expired license, failure to have a periodic inspection and lack of insurance coverage.
