The feud of camorra di Pianura moves to the city center and bloodies the streets of the Mergellina nightlife on Saturday night.
A nineteen year old, Anthony Gaetano believed to be linked to a Camorra clan from the Pianura district of Napoli, arrived last night at the San Paolo hospital in Fuorigrotta, Naples, seriously injured by two gunshots, which were fired shortly before 1am by two people while he was in his car in Mergellina, the street of chalets in the Campania capital.
Doctors found two wounds: one to the abdomen and the other to the cervical area. The young man, with a criminal record and resident in the neighborhood Pianura of the city, the scene of a murder a few days ago and considered by investigators to be a "hot zone", underwent delicate surgery.
He is now hospitalized in intensive care in danger of life. According to initial information, the killers fired at least three shots. On the ground, the State Police found three shell casings. The incident is currently being investigated by the Flying Squad of the Naples Police Headquarters.
Investigators are analyzing images from public and private cameras in the area to obtain elements useful for the investigation.
