Sunday 12 March at 19.00:XNUMX pm, at the Nostos Teatro in Aversa, on stage “Don Giovanni o l'amore insopportabile” by Ivano Bruner.
The scene is set in Naples in the twenty-first century, in a dilapidated apartment where Don Giovanni and Aniello lodge, having returned to their homeland after a wild series of travels. Their goliardic wandering around the world is frozen while they wait to sell Don Giovanni's property, left to him as an inheritance by his noble lineage, to make up for the imminent extinction of his savings.
The meeting between Don Giovanni and the various women he loves, lovers and aspiring lovers, gives rise to a series of events that will lead to a murder.
The show offers a look, through the filter of an almost archetypal character like Don Giovanni, on the uncertain nature of love. Be it of any kind, not classifiable due to its complexity and manifesting itself in multifaceted forms. Unbearable love, not in the negative sense of the term but understood as uncontainable, unpreservable, irrepressible. A necessary natural impulse that goes beyond the will, beyond morality.
