But it's also now used by those spreading fake news or inaccurate information, as in the recent case of the rat wandering around a train car. The elderly man was clearly in distress.

"The decision to film the episode, without the person concerned's knowledge, to make it the object of public ridicule, material for some post, rather than intervene, for example by immediately notifying the train conductor, is once again striking." This is stated in a note from EAV, the regional holding company that manages the service.
The train conductor specifies, "As soon as he learned of the incident, he took steps to have the train cleaned and returned to serviceable condition.".
