The Naples Flying Squad has executed a precautionary custody order in IPM, issued by the GIP of the Juvenile Court of Napoli, against a seventeen-year-old seriously suspected of having committed, on the night of November 25th, a robbery against a couple of young people who were walking in the central Via Toledo.
The young robber and his accomplice had stolen a watch and a necklace with a total value of approximately 2.000 euros, acting disguised and using multiple weapons, in particular a sawn-off shotgun and a single-shot homemade weapon, the so-called "pen gun", of clandestine origin, in collaboration with other individuals, including DBD, already the recipient of a custodial order in prison, also executed by the Naples Flying Squad. 27 February for the same fact.
The investigative activities, coordinated by the local Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, were carried out by analyzing and comparing images extracted from video surveillance systems located on site, from which the preparatory phases of the robbery were noted - disguising and exchanging clothes and shoes between the various accomplices - and those of the commission of the predatory event.
The seventeen-year-old is already locked up in an IPM in execution of a similar order as he is being investigated for having committed two robberies and a theft with the snatching of valuable watches as well as an attempted robbery, which occurred between the months of July and October 2022.
To escape the execution of this measure he had also gone into hiding and was then tracked down by investigators on 26 December last at a house located in the Quartieri Spagnoli area.
