On Thursday afternoon the officers of the Police Station Ischia, during the territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Centre, they intervened in the Municipality of Barano d'Ischia at the “Don Luigi Di Iorio” stadium for a report of a fight between spectators during the under 14 football match between Barano Football and the Sporting Village Qualiano.
The police, thanks to the viewing of some videos posted on the web, identified the participants in the fight, which broke out for trivial reasons between some parents of opposing fan groups; the officers also ascertained that one of the participants had used a belt to hit another competitor, causing injuries.
Two women, a 40 year old and a 43 year old, and four men, aged 44, 47, 51 and 52, were reported for brawling; the 44-year-old was also reported for possession of blunt objects or objects capable of causing offence during sporting events.
