The agents of the Stella Operational Unit together with the personnel of the Abandoned Vehicles Unit intervened in the area of the "Health" to clear the streets of abandoned and uninsured vehicles.
The parked vehicles and mopeds had become a receptacle for waste, causing danger and obstruction to pedestrian traffic. The areas were therefore cleaned up by eliminating the waste underneath the recovered carcasses and cleaning up the liquids that had leaked from the vehicles.
In the historic center, officers from the Lawyers' Operations Unit intervened to conduct land occupation checks and combat illegal street vending on Via Toledo and surrounding areas. Specifically, public establishments located on Via Toledo and Via San Giacomo were inspected, revealing four instances of illegal occupation of public land. To combat illegal street vending on Via Toledo, two seizures of counterfeit and non-CE-compliant goods were made.
