The Regional Plan is launched Campania to achieve water autonomy.
With today's approval by the Council, a note from Palazzo Santa Lucia states, "the first three hillside reservoirs (in the territories of Sessa Aurunca, Gioi Cilento, and Taurasi) are now up for tender. These are part of the overall plan, which, together with the Campolattaro dam, envisages an investment of three billion euros."

"The Campania Region," declared President Vincenzo De Luca, "intends to take the issue of water resources and drought, one of the major emergencies of the coming years, with extreme seriousness and commitment. We're starting with the first three hillside reservoirs intended for water supply."
