The military personnel of the Forestry Carabinieri Station of Caserta In the Casina Rossa area, they discovered and seized the illegal construction of a logging road/track, on a natural surface, using mechanical means.
The recently built route, designed to facilitate transport operations to the loading area of the woody mass obtained from the felling operations, was found to extend for a length of 500 metres and an average width of approximately 3 metres.
In some sections, the hillside was also excavated to a height of about one meter, as well as the felling of oak trees rooted along its path.
