Three cultural events open to the public, between Naples and Salerno, and the start of a new practical and experimental program. The ICRA Project, International Center for Research on the Actor - directed by Michele Monetta and Lina Salvatore, recognized by the MiC Ministry of Culture by the Campania Region, announces some important moments of theatrical culture and literature.
The first appointment, related to the Memorie Future VII edition project, is the lectio magistralis by prof. Marco De Marinis (University of Bologna) on French Mime in the 7th century; a speech – supported by rare films – on the figures of Etienne Decroux, Jean-Louis Barrault, Marcel Marceau and Jacques Lecoq. The meeting will be held for the students of the ICRA Project/Accademia di Mimodramma, for the professional dancers of the Balletto di Napoli and for theatre teachers at the Fondazione Lyceum Mara Fusco in Naples, on March 10 at 30:XNUMX.
On March 16, at 17:00 pm at the Teatro del Liceo Artistico Sabatini-Menna in Salerno, a special seminar on Surrealism (between figurative, cinema, psychoanalysis) is scheduled, curated by playwright and philosopher Gianni Garrera.
On March 29 at 17:00 pm, at the Conference Hall of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples – in collaboration with the Federico II University of Naples – the latest novel (nominated for the prestigious Strega Prize 2023) by Giovanni Greco – professor at the Silvio d'Amico Academy of Dramatic Arts in Rome – entitled Bruciare da sola. Una notte di Nadia Mandel'stam con i suoi fantasma (Burning Alone. A Night with Nadia Mandel'stam and Her Ghosts) will be presented, moderated by Professor Silvia Acocella, from the Federico II University of Naples. The meeting, promoted in collaboration with the Educational Service of the MANN, will be completed by staged readings from fragments chosen by the author.
Starting from March 24th, Icra Project will launch the new practical and experimental program, led by Lina Salvatore on the FELDENKRAIS Method, relating to eurhythmy, flexibility and body awareness, a path that the great director Peter Brook proposed to his actors in the 70s by inviting the Russian-Israeli master Moshe Feldenkraisal to his Parisian center, the Centre International de création théâtrale.
