“Focus on women in menopause”: event in Naples on March 8th with Undersecretary Gemmato and City Councilor Santagada

“Focus on the womens in menopause: psycho-metabolic criticalities and their prevention. Multidisciplinary approach: Clinical – Psychology – Diagnostics and Nutrition”. It will be discussed tomorrow, Wednesday 8 March, the day dedicated to International Women's Day, in an ECM course organized by theassociation “Zoè, life, health and well-being”.

The event, which will be hosted in the premises of FederFarma Naples in via Toledo 156 (starting at 13,30 pm), the Hon. will take part, among others. Marcellus Gemmato, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health; Dr. Maria Rosaria Campitiello (medical director at the Ministry of Health) and Prof. Vincent Santagada, Councillor for Health and Greenery of the Common di Naples.

Dello Iacovo: “Prevention through synergy between health professions”

University professors, professionals and researchers will be involved with them. “Our mission – explains the doctor Claudia Dello Iacovo, biologist and president of the Zoè association and one of the promoters of the course – is to aim at the prevention of 'good health' through synergy between all the various health professions".

“At a time when there is an ever-increasing need for doctors, biologists, in particular, due to the peculiar transversality of their skills, are called upon to play a crucial role in the field of pathology diagnosis, as well as in that of nutrition and environmental health protection”, he concludes.
