From March 10 on the radio and on all digital platforms “Una canzone”, the new single by Delmonte, released by Luppolo Dischi and distributed by ADA Music Italy.
The atmospheres that animate the song outline the style of what will be the first album of the Roman singer-songwriter. A world of sound that travels with the words and strengthens them: the intention is precisely to tell a story through the sounds most similar to the artist, a sound that reflects what he is and that best accompanies what he wants to tell, like a photograph to listen to.
“Una canzone” is the story of when you finally decide to turn the tables and crystallize everything that has been, letting go of memories. Closing a story and observing the rubble that remains as soon as you escape from an emotional dependence.
"This is an introspective work where I felt the piece grow step by step, just as I had imagined it. 'A Song' is a summary of the previous episodes, it's like rewinding the tape and stopping it exactly at the point where everything changed." says Delmonte about his third single.
The videoclip, directed by Niccolò Di Lallo, is developed around the concept of liberation. Everything brings us back to moments that we would like to leave behind but that we can't erase: the places, the thoughts that torment us when we don't have the strength to get out of a situation that makes us feel bad and the moments that keep us somehow tied to another person. Nothing can soothe a latent lack that we feel but that we can't reveal. Realizing that we are truly suffering from an emotional dependence is the first step to truly healing and to finding the courage to look at everything from another perspective. It is the greatest gift we can give ourselves before turning the page.
Biography
Delmonte, pseudonym of Gianluca Gabrieli, was born in Rome with the Sun in Virgo and the Moon in Taurus. Proudly pop, during the last months of 2021 he began working on the songs that will make up his first solo album, songs that with the right amount of time are finding their place. The first three singles "Niente panico" (July 2022), "Non è niente" (October 2022) and "Una canzone" (March 2023), released by Luppolo Dischi and published by ADA Music Italy, represent a preview of what the direction of the project will be. Delmonte has never been in a hurry. He lives by the sea but doesn't know how to fish.
