In particular, they joined forces to create, counterfeit and alter, for a large fee (equal to 2500 euros per 'procedure completed'), false documents (hospitality declarations and work contracts) necessary to obtain the title legitimising the illegal stay on Italian territory of irregular non-EU citizens, taking care of the related procedures (for issuing a residence permit or international protection) carried out at the immigration office of the Caserta Police Headquarters.
With this modus operandi they facilitated the permanence on the territory of non-EU citizens (unaware) in violation of immigration laws and those relating to international and humanitarian protection. Thanks to the creation of the criminal gang they were able to create and market false documents such as pink slips, driving licenses and the related medical certificates necessary for obtaining the qualifications. Also, to make the 'regular insertion' on the national territory of immigrants more credible, the suspects issued false declarations of hospitality at the address of residence or domicile of the suspects as well as false employment contracts at the non-existent ML agricultural company.
