The Commissioner for Reconstruction and Emergency IschiaGiovanni Legnini, today approved and issued a public notice to identify a site on the island of Ischia for the temporary storage of materials recovered following the flood of November 26th, for which there is still no adequate space.

The notice will be published on the Commissioner's website (www.sismaischia.it) and on those of the island's six municipalities. The area must be available for lease for at least one year, with the possibility that the Commissioner may reduce the lease period upon early completion of the disposal or reuse of the materials.
The Public Notice also lists all the characteristics required to identify the site for the requested use. The assessment will be conducted by the Commissioner's Office, in consultation with the Campania Regional Agency for Environmental Protection.
In particular, the properties and lands, which must be located within the six municipalities of the island of Ischia, must preferably be flat, with a minimum size of 4 mXNUMX, far from inhabited centers, free from shrubs or any obstacle to storage operations, and free from significant archaeological and hydrogeological constraints.
Furthermore, any sites belonging to entities that do not comply with anti-mafia legislation will be excluded. Interested public and private entities may submit their expression of interest in person, or through their representatives with a mandate or power of attorney, using the form attached to the Notice.
