On Monday 6 March at 12:XNUMX, in the auditorium of the Torrente High School in Casoria, the project “The future in the hands of art” will be presented, to stem the phenomenon of school dropout and increase employability for students, through a path that also includes teaching the values of legality and manual work.
The project, created in collaboration with the Antica Pizzeria Da Michele, starts as a training course for the students of the fourth classes of the IS Torrente. The students, followed by the Master pizza chefs of the Antica Pizzeria Da Michele and Michele in the world, will discover the secrets of the art of one of the artisan professions currently most in demand on the job market. A second phase of the project includes the assignment of scholarships, named after Antonio and Salvatore Condurro, in favor of the most deserving students, who will have the opportunity to follow the professional pizza chef course for free that the Antica Pizzeria Da Michele in The world, in collaboration with the Association Logos FormAzione, teaches in Aversa. This course trains the new talents of tomorrow today, preparing students from a theoretical and practical point of view, to then launch them into the job market through an internship in one of the Italian branches of l'Antica Pizzeria Da Michele in the world, with the ultimate goal of offering a place to students now trained with the 'da Michele method'.
The presentation will be attended by Annamaria Orso, headmaster of IS Torrente, Raffaele Bene, Mayor of Casoria, Ettore Acerra, general director of USR Campania, Lucia Fortini, Councilor for Education, Youth Policies and Social Policies of the Campania Region, Sergio Condurro, administrator of Antica Pizzería Da Michele, Alessandro Condurro, administrator of Antica Pizzeria Da Michele in the world, Giuseppe Giunta, commander of the Casoria Carabinieri station, and Giuseppe Sciaudone, commander of the Casoria municipal police. The meeting will be moderated by Luciano Pignataro, journalist and food and wine critic.
At the end of the presentation, there will be a tasting of the first pizzas baked by the master pizza chefs of Michele in the world with the new oven of IS Torrente.
