“Must Ovèr” is one of the most exasperated moments of the journey contained in the forthcoming album “Mo'”.

The theme of the song revolves around a famous Neapolitan saying usually used to encourage someone to get busy, to roll up their sleeves and get to work: «A'vuò aizà sta Cardarell'?!». Which literally translated means: «Do you want to lift this cardarell?!»

The cardarella is nothing other than a bricklayer's bucket, an explicit reference to getting to work and "getting your hands dirty".

Reading also involves linguistic interpretation. In English Must Over translates to «It must end», in Neapolitan Mast Ovèr indicates “O'Mast” or the master, the employer or, in a more derogatory conception, a person who believes he knows how to do everything. Ovèr, on the other hand, is an abbreviation of “'overo” or “truly, for real”
“Must Ovèr” therefore becomes a vent, naked and raw, to shout in the face of yet another know-it-all who tries to impose himself without actually doing anything.

«There is only one thing to say to these people: A'vuò aizà sta Cardarell'?» Megaride

The song was recorded and produced at the “Monolith Recording Studio” in Vitulano (BN), mixed and mastered by Filippo Buono. The video clip was shot in Naples. Direction and editing by Alex Pennino.

Megaride (pron. Megàride) is a Stoner Rock band from Naples. The group was born from the uncontrollable desire of its four founders to mix their countless Stoner, Grunge and Doom influences with the evocative power of the Neapolitan language, thus giving a disruptive personality to the band's songs, in which pressing rhythms, wild distortions and scathing lyrics give life to a furious scream that audio systems can hardly contain.

The name chosen by the group comes from the islet of Megàride in the Gulf of Naples on which Castel dell'Ovo is built, a sort of homage to their land so as to be able to take it with them on this journey called music. Megàride are Alessio, Daniele, Roberto and Gianmarco.

The group was born in 2016 and immediately began working on new songs and racking up hours of live performances in the Campania region.

In 2018, “VUOTO” was released, the first entirely self-produced EP. Recorded at Vessel Recording Studio in San Nicola La Strada (CE), mixed by Stefano Saggiomo and Nicola Tranquillo, mastered by Tommaso Bianchi. The work contains 3 songs including the single “4MURA”.
In September 2019 a new single was released: “IMMOBILE”, recorded again at Vessel, mixed by Stefano Saggiomo and Nicola Tranquillo, mastered by Giovanni Versari.

In January 2020, shortly before the pandemic, the group began producing 4 more singles with the aim of extracting the purest and most authentic part of their sound. They then decided to record everything themselves in their own studio. The filming was subsequently entrusted to Stefano Saggiomo for the mix and Giovanni Versari for the Mastering.

This work gives birth to: “Mangiafuoco, Magnum, Satellite and Bassoventre” published subsequently between autumn 2020 and winter 2021. On February 10, 2023 they released “A piedi nudi”, the first single from the album “Mo'”.
