Lucio Dalla e Napoli, a great passion of love that comes from far away. It is inevitable to celebrate it on the day of his 80 birthday with the big one show-event renamed for the occasion “Lucio Dalla. The dream of being Neapolitan” dedicated to the unpredictable human and musical genius, which will be held from today until June 25, 2023 at MANN National Archaeological Museum di Napoli.

A visual and sensorial journey, an immersive experience, which will transform the exhibition space into a scenic box. The journey begun a year ago continues in Bologna landed with enormous success at Roma, finally arrives in his favorite city, Napoli, which inspired some of his great masterpieces, such as Caruso.
The melody and the magic of that song - one of the most famous and sung pieces in the world - were born with the same naturalness with which blood flows in the veins, indeed “dint and veins”, with that famous “I love you very much” which is an ideal declaration of love that can be extended to the entire Neapolitan universe.

A gigantic poet who changed the course of the singer-songwriter genre, as a careful observer he knew how to transform the most subtle aspects of the city and Neapolitan society into music and visual art, the picturesque natural backdrop to one of his most famous video clips, that of Canzone.
“Next time I want to be born here, to be Neapolitan in all respects, not just imported”, the artist had declared.
