Yesterday, officers from the Secondigliano Police Station, the Naples-Capodichino Air Border Police, and personnel from the Municipal Police - Airport Operations Unit, Tourism Operations Unit, and Secondigliano Operations Unit, with the support of the Campania Crime Prevention Department, carried out an extraordinary patrol of the area at Capodichino Airport to combat the phenomenon of illegal public transportation.
During the operation, 52 people were identified, 14 of whom had a police record, 40 vehicles were checked, two of which were subject to administrative seizure and 15 were subject to administrative detention, and 9 violations of the Highway Code were also contested for lack of insurance coverage, for driving with an expired license, for having used a car for rental with driver (NCC) that was not intended for such use and for having driven an NCC vehicle in violation of the authorization requirements.
Furthermore, 2 driving licences were withdrawn because they had expired and 6 vehicle registration documents.
