Agents of the Naples Flying Squad executed an order for the application of the precautionary measure of custody in prison, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples, at the request of the Public Prosecutor, against CR, born in '84 with a police record, for the crime of aggravated robbery.
The man, on the night of January 8th, had committed a robbery against a young couple who were walking near Piazza Mercato in Naples.
In particular, the criminal had surprised the two from behind by putting his hands around the girl's neck and holding a knife to her throat, then ordering the boy to hand over everything he had in his possession, also threatening to kill the woman if he refused.
After the robbery, the bandit fled to Castel Volturno
The investigations, carried out through the analysis of images from video surveillance systems and through photographic identification by the victims, have allowed us to ascertain serious evidence of guilt against CR.
The operators ascertained that the man, after committing the robbery, had left the city of Naples to hide in an isolated villa in the municipality of Castelvolturno where he was tracked down last night by the men of the Flying Squad.
