Naples in Piazza Garibaldi an illegal parking attendant was reported for attempted extortion for just over 1 euro.
The Carabinieri of the Stella company are carrying out incessant checks, which, on the orders of the provincial command of Naples, have combed the areas of Piazza Garibaldi. Right in Piazza Garibaldi the military of the Arma have caught an illegal parking attendant with a repeat offence in the two-year period.
The man was reported for attempted extortion: the police found that the 37-year-old was trying to violently extort the sum of 1 euro and 20 cents to a driver who wanted to park her car.
The Carabinieri noticed the two and the conversation did not seem peaceful at all, hence the intervention and the complaint of the valet.
During the operations – carried out together with the soldiers of the Campania regiment and the NAS of Naples – the soldiers of the Secondigliano station tracked down and arrested the 53-year-old in accordance with a provision issued by the Court of Latina. Campolongo Vincenzo.
The man will have to serve a prison sentence of 4 years and 6 months for the crimes of fraud and theft.
Also arrested George DeSimone, a 33-year-old local already known to the police. The man was tracked down and arrested by the Carabinieri of Borgoloreto on the orders of a provision issued by the Court of Appeal of Naples for the crime of evasion.
The Carabinieri of the Borgoloreto station also arrested White Raphael, born in 72. The man, by order of the Parma Prosecutor's Office, will have to serve a sentence of 3 years and 3 months in prison for fraud.
The last in chronological order of those arrested bears the name of Attilio Bellia, a 45-year-old from Scampia already known to the police. The Carabinieri had reported his escape - he was under house arrest - which occurred last March 6 and now by virtue of the provision issued by the judicial authorities he has been transferred to prison.
