The officers of the San Ferdinando Police Station executed an order for the application of the personal precautionary measure of the ban on residing in the Municipality of Naples, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples, at the request of the Public Prosecutor, against GC, a 39-year-old Neapolitan with a police record, for the crime of attempted extortion.
In particular, the man, last January 21, had threatened a motorist by demanding 5 euros to park in the spaces on Via Riviera di Chiaia.
The precautionary measure was decided by the investigating judge after the driver's complaint, considering the fact that the man already had a criminal record and was known in the area as an illegal parking attendant.
