Il Napoli falls for the first time this season to Maradona: the Azzurri lose 1-0 against the LazioA balanced match, decided by a masterpiece goal from Vecino in the second half.
Here are the report cards of the blues.
Napoli Lazio Report Cards: Di Lorenzo Saves a Goal, Kim Also Does Well
Meret: 6. He was not at fault for Vecino's deadly shot that found the corner, but was not called upon to make any particular interventions for the rest of the match.
By Lorenzo: 6,5. The clearance on the line after 5' was worth a goal. Otherwise, good precision in passing, a lot of forward thrust but few chances created.
Rahmani: 6. He stands guard behind us together with Kim, nothing can be blamed on him.
Perhaps his contribution on set pieces in his team's attack is a little lacking.
Kim: 6,5. He won 8 out of 8 aerial duels and moved the ball around a lot with a 94% accuracy rate at the end of the match. There is still regret for the missed header opportunity after Osimhen hit the crossbar in the area.
Olivera: 6. He lacks a bit of nastiness, but defensively he leaves little space and in fact Felipe Anderson is well contained (from 93' Zedadka: sv).

Napoli is in a total emergency, with Lobotka also out: muscle strain, missing the Juventus match.
Conte: "We were unlucky with the goal we conceded. We deservedly advanced, and I'm happy with everyone's effort."
Napoli, Buongiorno: "Happy to have advanced, penalties are always difficult."
Napoli struggles but advances to the quarterfinals, with Cagliari defeated on penalties.
Zielinski, misses the shot.
Anguissa and Lobotka struggle
Zielinski: 5,5. Much more involved in the offensive phase, this time the conclusions towards the goal arrive but not the right ones to unlock the game. He must be more clinical (from 82' Simeon: sv).
Lobotka: 5,5. The opposition midfield is good at not letting him breathe, and he becomes less involved in the play.
The data, however, speaks of excellent ball management: 97% pass accuracy and 6 out of 6 successful long balls. Spalletti notices this and replaces him: a rarity (from the 82nd minute Ndombele: sv).
Anguissa: 5,5. One of the most called upon at the start of the match, he loses many balls and cannot find the right place in Spalletti's chessboard (from 71' Elmas: 6).
Lozano: 5,5. A hint on the wing and nothing more, he touches very few balls and is unable to make himself concrete as in previous outings (from 71' Politano: 6).
osimhen: 6. He had his chances, but Lazio's central defenders outdid themselves in marking.
When he can, however, he tries to put his signature on it: the crossbar still cries out for vengeance.
Kvaratskhelia: 6. Three key passes wasted by his teammates, but a few too many lost balls. He lacks the decisive dribble, this time no magic works.
