A seventy-year-old man accused of possessing a large amount of child pornography has had his arrest confirmed, but must sign in at the police station instead of being booked into jail.
The decision was made by the investigating judge of Naples Carna Sarno (36th section). The seventy-year-old was arrested last Thursday (March 2) by the Postal and Communications Police of Campania, Basilicata and Molise (Cybersecurity Operations Center).

The police seized a total of 59 photos and 336 videos depicting minors, a particularly large quantity that also triggered the aggravating circumstance.
After his arrest, the man was held in Poggioreale prison. The validation hearing for the elderly man, represented by lawyer Francesco Angelino, was held last Saturday morning.
