The fault occurred on board a Circumvesuviana train yesterday evening on the Naples-Sorrento line. Around 20.50:19.30 pm on the train that left Naples at XNUMX:XNUMX pm and was headed for Sorrento, a fault in the engine unit, the causes of which are currently being investigated, caused strong vibrations to the underbody of the tail element during the journey.
The strong vibrations caused some damage to the floor of the train, as evidenced by a video that quickly spread on the web. The train was stopped and secured in the Meta station to be subjected to the appropriate checks.
On the train, Eav assures that no harm was done to the 30 passengers on board and no one requested medical assistance. The passengers continued their journey with the next train after 15 minutes.
