Ten minutes later, Sampdoria tried again, first with Leris who was blocked by Ochoa , then with Cuisance himself who, on the rebound, hit the crossbar but was still in an offside position.
Salernitana saved themselves and tried to strike from a dead-ball situation towards the end with Maggiore , who found himself with the ball at his feet following a corner but was blocked by Gunter as he attempted a powerful shot. The score remained 0-0 before the final whistle.
