Scafati, Pd: ok from Salerno, Michele Grimaldi is the mayoral candidate

"The Democratic Party indicates Michele Grimaldi as candidate for mayor of the city of Scafati" - reads the note -.

The decision was taken following the meeting of the city council which took place yesterday evening in the presence of the Provincial Secretary Vincenzo Luciano.
The Democratic Party, in all its branches, will guarantee full support to Michele Grimaldi and the democratic community of Scafati in the path undertaken in view of the next administrative elections.

Grimaldi's choice stems from an in-depth discussion and a serious analysis of the city's situation, involving leaders and activists of Scafati's Democratic Party.
Michele Grimaldi, Party Leader, member of the National Assembly, and city councilor who, in both 2013 and 2019, was the center-left candidate with the highest number of votes, represents one of our community's most passionate and valuable resources, thanks to his political skills and the expertise he has developed within the municipal government.

A sincere thank you to him for his generous availability.

The political and social framework of Scafati is extremely complex: in this regard, the Democratic Party of Scafati presents itself as a responsible force that intends to work towards the construction of a broad, progressive and alternative field to the right, presenting the city with a clear and innovative vision, capable of combining growth, social justice and sustainability.

In this perspective, the Democratic Party, under the name of Michele Grimaldi, wants to give a sincere and serious contribution to the discussion with the political and social forces of the center-left.
