It was held before the GUP of the Court of Benevento, Dr. Gelsomina Palmieri, the trial against Sergio Altivalle, 32 years old, from Benevento, defended by lawyers Vittorio Fucci and Cosimo Servodio, accused of aggravated drug dealing.
In particular, Altivalle was charged with eight drug sales that allegedly occurred between December 2019 and January 24, 2020. The investigations, conducted by the Benevento Flying Squad, through the use of wiretaps and stakeout services, began following the accusatory statements of a person from Campobasso, arrested for drug dealing.
Precisely from the content of the intercepted conversations, the Prosecutor's Office had deduced the profiles of Altivalle's responsibility in relation to eight specific aggravated drug sales. At today's hearing, the PM, Dr. Stefania Bianco, had requested the defendant be sentenced to 2 years and 8 months in prison. The GUP Palmieri, who accepted the defense thesis of the lawyers Vittorio Fucci and Cosimo Servodio, acquitted Sergio Altivalle because the fact did not exist, was of a different opinion.
