Maddaloni Drug Dealing Square Dismantled: 14 Precautionary Measures

The Carabinieri of the Maddaloni company, following investigations coordinated by the DDA of the Naples prosecutor's office, have executed an order for the application of precautionary measure personal issued by the investigating judge of the Naples court against 14 subjects.

All accused of the crimes of association for the purpose of illicit trafficking of narcotic substances and possession for the purpose of trafficking. The operation was carried out in collaboration with the Carabinieri of Caserta, Naples, and Isernia, with the support of an aircraft from the 7th Helicopter Unit of Pontecagnano and two drug-sniffing canine units from the Sarno unit.

Following investigations carried out between December 2018 and May 2020, the existence of an association dedicated to the illicit trafficking of hashish, cocaine, crack and marijuana operating in the Maddaloni area and in several municipalities in the provinces of Caserta e Napoli. Also arranged a preventive seizure of capital and assets.

During the investigation activity, the following tests were carried out: 11 arrests in flagrante delicto, seized various quantities of cocaine (869 grams), hashish (100 grams), marijuana (1,2 kilograms) and crack (361 grams), for a total of 2,530 kilos of drugs, the overall sum of 12 thousand euros, a gun semi-automatic 6,35 caliber, 14 6,35 caliber cartridges and 13 7,65 caliber cartridges. 13 users also reported.
