Storiacce (based on I Figli degli Altri by Rosetta Cappelluccio) by and with Cristina Donadio and Maurizio Capone directed by Raffaele Di Florio. Production 369gradi.
New appointment of the NEST theatre season with Storiacce by and with Cristina Donadio and Maurizio Capone directed by Raffaele Di Florio.
The show will be on stage on Saturday, March 18 (21 pm) and Sunday, March 19 (18 pm). Children's laughter should resonate in the neighborhoods where they live, their voices should be the score of the lives of adults, in their eyes you should read the soul, and instead there are small men and women who silently cross the world.
They don't laugh with their hearts and their eyes are covered by a veil. They live in a world without music and without colors, but they are the children of others and to others, they don't care much... The idea for this staging comes from the need that makes its way into the hearts and minds of artists when they feel the duty to tell what no one would like to hear. Fragments of lives lived and suffered, stories of uses and abuses... Bad stories, indeed.
The show develops on two levels that meet and intertwine seamlessly. The dramatic one interpreted by Cristina Donadio who is divided between two figures, a psychologist who describes the events and a voice that relives, in some cases in the first person, the dramatic events. And the musical one in which Maurizio Capone sings some of his songs completing and amplifying the emotional states also with sound counterpoints that as in his typical style come from instruments made with recycled materials.
