A well-known lawyer has died in a parachute accident in Cumiana, near Turin. Giampiero Pani, 63, was at the Sky Dreams Center skydiving facility on Saturday afternoon when, for reasons currently under investigation, he crashed and died.
The 118 staff arrived on site and confirmed his death, and police, to whom the investigations are entrusted.
“It is with great sadness that the Aero Club Torino announces the premature passing of its Member, but first and foremost Friend, Giampiero Pani,” wrote the Aero Club Torino ASD on Facebook. “In remembering Giampiero and his passion for flying and skydiving, the Board of Directors and all the Members of the Aero Club join in the grief of his family and friends.”
