The Torre Annunziata Public Prosecutor's Office has requested life imprisonment for the four defendants that the Naples Assize Court is called to judge for the murder of Maurizio Cerrato, the 61-year-old security guard of the Pompeii excavations killed in Torre Annunziata, in front of his daughter, with a stab wound to the heart, on the evening of April 19, 2021, after an argument over a parking space.
The requests were made today by the deputy prosecutor of Annunziata Tower, Juliana Moccia, at the end of a long (it lasted almost five hours) and detailed prosecution during which the magistrate retraced all the phases of that tragic evening.

The brothers are accused of that murder Giorgio and Domenico Scaramella, Besides Francesco and Antonio CirilloPresent, for the Cerrato family, as in almost all hearings, visibly distraught, were the widow and daughter of the victim, defended by the lawyer John Verdoliva.

The President of the Second Court of Assizes of Naples Concetta Cristiano The hearing, during which defense lawyers will argue, has been scheduled for March 21st, the day on which mafia victims are commemorated. The sentencing is expected that same day.
