Yesterday morning the agents of the General Prevention Office, during the territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Room of the police headquarters of Napoli, intervened in Piazza Fuga at Vomero for a report of a person in front of the post office entrance who was blocking customers and annoying passers-by.
The police officers, arriving on the scene, identified the man in a very agitated state who was loudly harassing the bystanders; the officers approached but the man, when asked to provide his personal details, went into a rage, insulting and threatening them; therefore the officers stopped him.
A 34-year-old Ethiopian, illegally residing in the country and with a police record, has been reported for contempt of a public official as well as for illegal entry and residence in the country.
