The street sign that has been defaced for several years will also be cleaned.
On the occasion of the eightieth anniversary of the fascist massacre with the assassination of the seven Cervi brothers, in Naples a flowerbed and a mural will be dedicated to them in the open space in front of the Arci Scampia, in Naples.
The appointment is for Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 10 am, right in via Fratelli Cervi. The program includes cleaning the street sign, now defaced for several years, and the planting of seven elm trees for the seven brothers.
A panel will bear the names of the Cervi, shot by the fascists on December 28, 1943, and the poem “Compagni fratelli Cervi” by Gianni Rodari, while a mural by Nino Come, on the adjacent wall, will bear the names of the victims.
The participation of Nicola Nardella, president of the VIII municipality of the Municipality of Naples, and of Vincenzo Vacca, of the provincial committee Anpi, is expected.
