“The tree planted in Via Bruno Buozzi in Acerra , on whose branches around thirty garbage bags have been thrown over time and become stuck, sadly represents the symbol of the degradation and incivility that have taken hold of the local community.
An icon of man's violence and indifference towards the environment and the territory in which he himself lives and towards which he can only show contempt for everything. We ask the municipal administration to proceed quickly with the cleaning of the tree so as to erase a disgrace that most of the residents, good citizens, do not deserve.
At the same time, we hope that this episode will be a stimulus for the local community to become a leader against the incivility of their fellow citizens, reporting cases of illegal waste dumping and promoting initiatives for the protection of the territory. We do not want our cities to be furnished with the 'garbage' of others". These are the words of the deputy of Alleanza Verdi Sinistra Francesco Emilio Borrelli, Rosario Visone local spokesperson of Europa Verde and Gaetano Allocca promoter of the Parco della Vita of Brusciano and activist of Sole che Ride.
