“Biglietto” (Alka Record Label – LINK), the new single by Bolognese singer-songwriter Baschira, will be released on the radio, on digital platforms and in all digital stores on Friday, April 14th.

With this new song, the singer-songwriter confirms his artistic and social commitment. A song born from stories that urgently need to be told but, above all, listened to. It tells of travels, of people forced to abandon their country because of war and not only; of resignation and hope, of those who emigrate in search of work and wait for the day when they can finally return home. Written in collaboration with Filippo Marchioni and produced together with Michele Guberti, “Biglietto” represents a further demonstration of the singer-songwriter's awareness, of his choices and above all, of his new music.

The song also talks about journeys in digital worlds, on the tracks of social networks, which transform the user into a fashionable product, new digital zombies induced to desire and consume their own time and money. "Social media parasite like in the underworld you enter then pay at the exit", sings Baschira.

Biography

Baschira was born from an idea by Davide Cristiani, an artist originally from Bologna, who has been living in Amsterdam for years. It is in the shoes of Prospero Baschieri (Baschira), a bandit who lived in the early nineteenth century that the guitarist decides to bring the protagonists of his stories on stage: the last, victims of abuse and social injustice. In the autumn of 2019, Baschira, accompanied by seven musicians, worked in the studio, together with Mario da Silva of the "RPM Studio", mixing the songs that would make up his first album "Zdasdat". In January 2020, the songs were mastered by the sound engineer and producer Pietro Rossi, at RedStone Productions in Amsterdam. In March 2020, his first single "Il Biondo" was released, which was followed by "A Capo". "Brucia" and Ruotaordinario followed. The songs are part of the album “Zdasdat” which in Bolognese dialect means “Wake up”, released on vinyl and digital, on November 26, 2021 published by Radici Music Records and distributed by (R)esisto.
