Three more arrests for the murder of Pasquale Tortora, which occurred on May 20, 2020 in Acerra, in the Naples area.

After having identified the perpetrators and instigators of the assassination, the Carabinieri arrested this morning Anthony Annunziata, 37 years old, Vincenzo Bastelli, 35 years old, both from Naples, and Gennaro Pacilio, 56 years old from Acerra: they would have taken part in the organizational phases of Tortora's killing, in particular taking care of the procurement and preparation of the weapons and cell phones used during the ambush.
The military personnel of the investigative unit of the group of Castello di Cisterna, as part of an investigation coordinated by the public prosecutor's office Napoli – District Anti-Mafia Directorate, they executed a custodial detention order.

They are accused, to varying degrees, of the crime of voluntary homicide in competition, aggravated by mafia methods and purposes. The instigators of the murder of Pasquale Tortora are said to be the brothers Bruno and Giancarlo Avventurato, leading figures of the Acerra organized crime, already arrested for having commissioned the crime with the aim of avenge the death of Joseph, their brother, killed in December 2019 during a clash between clans for control of the territory.
The investigation activities have brought to light the conduct of Annunziata and Bastelli who, on the orders of Cosimo Nicolì (also already arrested), after the ambush was committed, they had taken care of the economic support of the two killers (Alessio Galdiero and Angelo Di Palma), until their arrest, while Pacilio, in addition to providing the murder weapon, allegedly participated in the inspection phases preceding the murder.
