A charge of vehicular homicide is pending against the mother of Aurora Napolitano, the 7-year-old girl from Casalnuovo who was accidentally hit this afternoon by the car she was driving.
According to initial investigations by the Carabinieri and the local police, who arrived on the scene with an ambulance, the woman who was driving a light gray Audi A3 hit the little girl while reversing.
An acquaintance who was with them was also involved in the crash, but the man was not seriously injured. The body and vehicle were seized by order of the Nola judicial authorities.
