Casavatore. “Biblioteca della salute”, the partnership with the ASL Napoli2 Nord is born. The municipal structure in via Marconi was inaugurated today and will be managed by the operators of the Mental Health department of the local health company Napoli 2 Nord.
The inaugural event was launched with institutional greetings from Mayor Luigi Maglione, Councilor for Culture, Elsa Picaro, and Councilor for Social Policies, Giuseppina D'Alessio. The event was attended by the Vice President of the Senate, the Honorable Mariolina Castellone, the Director of the Mental Health Department of the Health Authority, Angelo Cucciniello, the Head of the SIR Management Operations Unit of the District, Carmen Cimmino, and the Head of the Social-Health Pathways of the Authority, Lucia Vitalba.
Present were the Prefect Umberto Cimmino, the councilors Claudio Caturano, Alessandro Sorrentino, Vincenzo Acunzo, the assessor Luca Legorano and the journalists Domenico Rubio and Giuseppe Bianco. Also speaking were Carmela Giammetta, president of the departmental consultation of Mental Health of the ASL, Maximilian Gebiola and Francesca Stigliano, president and head of the Naples district of the clown therapy non-profit organization “Teniamoci per mano”.
The “health library”, the result of a public-public partnership agreement between the two territorial entities signed on 27 June 2022, will in fact be managed, over the next three years, directly by the Mental Health department of the ASL Napoli 2 Nord for the implementation of a path of social inclusion and rehabilitation of psychiatrically fragile subjects.
