“The April 25th and May XNUMXst long weekends have seen hotel and restaurant reservations sold out. We therefore expect a significant influx of tourists in the next ten days.

Therefore, I invite all traders, not only those registered with trade associations, to remain open even on holidays, so as to guarantee an adequate welcome to visitors, as Caserta traders are used to doing”. The appeal comes from the Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Productive Development Programming, Emiliano Casale.

The proposal had already been put forward by the Deputy Mayor during the tourism roundtable, chaired by Casale himself, which met last Wednesday in the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Caserta.

“During the roundtable – added the Deputy Mayor – I launched this idea, which was immediately well received by the representatives of the merchants' associations, who declared themselves available for an opening on holidays, in order to intercept the considerable number of tourists who will arrive in the city, thanks to the free entrance to the Reggia scheduled for April 25, the extraordinary openings of the Belvedere, the visits to other places of historical and artistic interest and the many initiatives scheduled in the coming days.

The opening of shops on the April 25th and May XNUMXst long weekends are an important element to allow the city to be more attractive to visitors but also an indisputable opportunity for Caserta traders to obtain important results in terms of income".
