Over the last weekend, the Easter holidays, the Carabinieri of the Amalfi Company and local police officers from the municipalities of Amalfi , Maiori, Minori, Positano, and Praiano carried out specific traffic checks, specifically to verify compliance with the ordinance issued by ANAS, which came into force the previous week, regarding the need to regulate the flow of cars on the Amalfi Coast through the "alternate license plate" system.
During the numerous checkpoints, a note from the military details, hundreds of cars and motorcycles were checked and a total of 102 fines were issued for administrative violations against road users who were found not to be in compliance because they had arrived in the various locations on the coast without respecting the regulations in force.
