The intervention of the Fire Brigade was providential, saving a very young falcon injured and immobile on the road in the Macchia district, a few kilometers from the Irpinia municipality of Lacedonia.
The falcon was secured before being handed over to the forestry police who in turn handed him over to the veterinarians of the Calitri ASL department. Despite his injuries, he is in good condition. Once treated and rehabilitated, he will be released back into the wild.
