Naples. Yet another late-night commercial theft, and this time a pizzeria in Vomero has been targeted. The owners also sent the video from their surveillance cameras to Francesco Emilio Borrelli, a member of Parliament for the Green-Left Alliance, who shared it on his social media channels, along with a message from the pizzeria's owners.

“This is the theft we suffered on Saturday night,” the owners explained, “Naples is now unlivable”: this was their bitter outburst after the video that captured two people during the theft, outside the pizzeria located on Via Giuseppe Orsi, in the heart of Vomero, a stone's throw from Piazza Medaglie d'Oro.

It all happened on Saturday, April 16: in the video, you can see two people “tinkering” near the pizzeria, with their faces partially covered, around 5 in the morning. Among the trees along Via Giuseppe Orsi you can also see the festoons already set up for the Napoli championship party, now imminent.

It has become unlivable for the simple reason that those who want to work are underpaid with 60/70% less than the minimum wage. Saying that we young people do not want to do anything. If a part-time contract gives us 400 euros a month and not 700/780 as foreseen by the CCNL then it is normal that people go and commit robberies.
