Paolo Maldini , former captain and current technical director of AC Milan , spoke about the Champions League quarter-final that will see the Rossoneri face Napoli , with the first leg scheduled for this Wednesday at San Siro.
Maldini: “Napoli? It won’t be easy, but we like to dream”
Maldini 's statements were reported by Repubblica : “It won't be easy against Napoli, but the club's history gives us the chance to believe.
We can turn the season into something incredible, we like to dream."
“We have a lot of dreamers in the squad, and it's positive that we have them, just as there are others who are more realistic ,” he added. “I was a dreamer too, when I played. Without dreams, we would probably have won fewer Champions Leagues in our history.”
The promise with Ancelotti: “See you in Istanbul?”
The Rossoneri technical director finally revealed a 'promise' made with Carlo Ancelotti , Real Madrid coach , who was drawn on the other side of the draw: “He and I have an unfinished business in Istanbul , where the final will be held.
And after the draw he called me, saying: 'Paolo, see you in Istanbul?'”.
