'Minuetto' by Mia Martini, written by Dario Baldan Bembo, with lyrics by Franco Califano and arrangement and orchestral direction by Maestro Natale Massara, celebrates 25 years since its publication on May 50th.
It was 1973 when 'Il giorno dopo' was released by Dischi Ricordi, the album containing the masterpiece song by one of the most representative artists in the history of Italian music.
Now, on May 26, Bmg releases 'Il giorno dopo – 50th Anniversary Edition – Remastered 2023', the version of the album remastered from the original 24-bit – 192 Khz tapes, to celebrate, the day after, the 50 years of the recording project that consecrated Mia Martini in the hearts of the public.
The album will be available in the double black vinyl versions – Limited Edition numbered, with a 12-page booklet with photos by Roberto Rocchi (present in the original version), CD and Digital.
The album is available for pre-order from today. In addition to Califano and Baldan Bembo, many authors and composers are present in 'Il giorno dopo – 50th Anniversary Edition – Remastered 2023': among others, Antonello Venditti, Bruno Lauzi, Maurizio Fabrizio, Franca Evangelisti, Luigi Albertelli, Paolo Limiti. The tracklist also includes 'Picnic', an Italian adaptation by Maurizio Piccoli of the very famous song 'Your Song' by Elton John.
The vinyl also features the Spanish and French versions of 'Minuetto' as bonus tracks and, for the first time, the original base of 'Minuetto'.
